Osmotic mortar

Osmotic mortar powder
Protects from the counter pressure of the water
For indoor or outdoor use

FEATURES:

The Osmotic mortar powder PRO.64 consists of white cement, quartz and carbonates with calibrated granulometry not exceeding 0.4 mm and specific additives that allow a good workability under the tool and adhesion to the supports. The special addition allows to block the salts and to not allow free water to penetrate into the masonry.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Thoroughly clean the supports to be treated, removing any residues of paints and/or plastering not sufficiently anchored. Soak up to refusal, the surfaces to be treated. After you have prepared the mix, let the mortar rest for about 10 minutes. Apply 1 (one) first hand of the product on the surface to be treated with a brush to fill any hidden cavity. Then apply a layer of about 2 - 3 mm with a spatula or trowel.

WHERE IT IS USED:
The osmotic mortar PRO.64 is employed for the restoration of masonry subject to strong moisture, such as indoor or outdoor masonry, basements, irrigation channels, manholes, lift wells, foundation walls and any damp environment to be restored.

PRACTICAL TIPS:
Store the boxes on wooden pallets, in dry locations. Carefully close the packaging immediately after use, keep away from frost.

USAGE NOTES:
Before applying further finishing materials, make sure that the layer of osmotic mortar PRO.64 is perfectly hardened and dry, avoiding to expose it to forced drying and strong thermal changes. It is recommended to let the mortar adhere and penetrate the support by occluding each porosity of its surface. Particular care should be taken in applying on corners and quarter round angles. The thickness of the mortar at the end of the work should be about 2 - 3 mm. The preparation of osmotic mortar PRO.64 with electrical tools can alter the properties of the stucco, therefore it is recommended to prepare small quantities, using the mechanical stirrer at a low number of revolutions (<800 revolutions per minute).
